The Celadon philosophy

Launched in July 2000, Celadon was born out of a desire to make truly inspirational gifts. Each beautiful object we produce is designed to inspire you to think, to create, and to approach modern life with a little more serenity and imagination.

Celadon founder, Monica Yip, was raised in Hong Kong surrounded by an eclectic array of Chinese literature, calligraphy, paintings and ceramics - both antique and contemporary. The family collection of Chinese calligraphy and traditional hand-stitched books was particularly cherished. Years later after moving to London, the simplicity and graceful form of these treasured items inspired Monica to create a unique range of stationery that was as eye-catching as it was tactile.

Today, the Celadon range has grown to embrace photo frames and albums, notebooks, notecards and our signature Fortune Shaker.
